Applicants should:
- Be comfortable speaking in both French and English.
- Be fit. Coaches lift and carry equipment throughout the day.
- Be safety-conscious. Safety is the coach's first priority.
- Be very comfortable working around water.
- Have a background in sports, preferably in Sprint Canoe-Kayak and/or team sports.
- Enjoy working with children. PICC adheres to "High Five" standards.
- Enjoy working outside.
- Have a great attitude and enjoy working with a team.
Qualifications:
- Transport Canada Boating License
- 3 hrs min. practical safety boat training (provided by the club)
- CPR/First Aid C, September 2025 or later (provided by the club)
- WHMIS (provided by the club)
- 4/5 Step (provided by the club)
- Training Week: June 22 to 26 *If unable to attend Training week, alternate arrangements must be made well ahead of the first day of camp.
